Electroencephalography (EEG):
A test to asses the normal and abnormal brain activities. e.g. seizure disorders, memory loss, etc.
Electromyography and nerve conductions (EMG & NC):
Repetitive nerve stimulation and blink reflex a group of tests to evaluate the muscles & nerves disorders. e.g. myopathy, carpal tunnel, neuropathy, etc.
Electronystagmography (ENG):
A test to evaluate abnormal eye movements e.g. nustagmus, etc.
Visual evoked potentials (VEP):
A test to asses the optic nerve and optic radiations that connect the eye to the brain. e.g. optic neuritis, multiple sclerosis, etc.
Brain auditory evoked responses (BAER):
A test to asses the auditory nerve and auditory system that connect the far to the brain. e.g. multiple sclerosis, etc.
Lumbar puncture:
A procedure to withdraw cerebrospinal fluid to check for infections and degeneration of the brain and the spinal cord. e.g. bacterial infections, multiple sclerosis, etc.
Tensilon test:
A procedure to evaluate the neurojunction of the muscle and nerve. e.g. myathenia gravis, etc.
Intera thecal baclofen:
A test to evaluate the patient with spasticity. e.g. patient with spinal cord trauma, cerebral palsy, etc.
Intracranial sonography:
A non-invasive test to evaluate the blood flow in the cerebral arteries. e.g. plaqes formation and stenosis.
Sleep study:
A test to evaluate for sleep disorders. e.g. sleep apnea, snoring and legs movements.
Spinal cord injury:
Evaluation and treatment of spinal cord injuries.
